Join a panel discussion with Penn faculty and students and author Alan Lightman to discuss “SEARCHING: Our Quest For Meaning In The Age Of Science”

 

Are we just atoms and molecules, or something more? How does consciousness arise from the material neurons in our brains?

 

Join Penn faculty and students in conversation with physicist and bestselling author Alan Lightman to discuss how key findings of modern science help us find our bearings in the cosmos and what these new discoveries tell us about ourselves, and how do we find meaning in them?

 

Penn Panelists include:

  • Marija Drndic, Fay R. and Eugene L. Langberg Professor of Physics, Department of Physics and Astronomy
