We’re very excited to introduce newly-designed MR-compatible cable clips for the Cima.X scanner. These clips are meant to be used with peripheral equipment such as button boxes, headphones, or squeeze-balls to keep the cables from getting caught when the MRI scanner table is moving in/out. They also should help with keeping coils from getting looped, which is a potential hazard to participants as it could cause heating and burns.
Here is the final clip in all its glory:
As you can see, it’s a pretty simple doodad. It slides into the slot at the side of the scanner bed and can be positioned anywhere along the length of the bed. We also have a longer/fancier version (with the MindCORE logo!), pictured in this image:
