Step-Ahead Mentoring Program

Every semester, we match undergraduate students with a mentor who is just a step ahead in pursuing a career in the sciences and/or research (e.g. graduate students and postdoctoral fellows). Click here to learn more!

Integrated Language Science and Technology (ILST)

Integrated Language Science and Technology (ILST) supports this community by serving as a hub for its research and educational activities, focusing especially on facilitating further integration and collaboration. Click here to learn more!

MindCORE Postdoctoral Research Fellowships

MindCORE recruits outstanding postdoctoral researchers for our Research Fellowship for Postdoctoral Scholars. The MindCORE Fellowship is a springboard for young researchers as they establish their own research program. Fellows are also encouraged to pursue collaborative research with faculty working across disciplines at Penn. Click here to learn more!

Social and Behavioral Science Initiative (SBSI)

SBSI drives discovery and innovation by supporting the interdisciplinary study of social and behavioral science at Penn. The Initiative links together scholars who are addressing similar questions and provides infrastructure for research. Click here to learn more!

MindCORE Undergraduate Summer Fellowship

We offer two programs that run in partnership and concurrently: the Lila R. Gleitman Undergraduate Summer Fellowship Program for Penn students funded through a generous donor gift; and the Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Site in Interdisciplinary Mind and Brain Studies supported by the National Science Foundation. Funding

Activity Fund

MindCORE has dedicated funds to support initiatives and activities that build and enhance the Mind & Brain community at Penn, and foster new collaborations, education, or outreach through conferences, seminars, events or other group activities on campus. MindCORE will provide up to $2500 in funding on a competitive basis. Click here to learn more!

Family Care Grant

The Family Care Grant Program supports conference attendees who incur extra family care expenses necessary to attend conferences important to career progression. MindCORE is offering $500 USD grants to help defray those additional expenses. Click here to learn more!
