There are many career options for linguists outside of academia. Discovering them and learning how to connect with and talk to potential employers takes time. In this session, we’ll see an overview of the types of career paths that are available to linguists, based on the results of our recent survey of career linguists. You’ll come away knowing where linguists work, some ideas of employment options, how to connect and network with people already working in those sectors, and some tips on tailoring your resume.
