Description:Learn how to create an effective poster. Barbara Kountouzi, Head of Digital Media & Virtual Services at the Penn Biomedical Library, will discuss poster DOs and DON’Ts, using examples of actual posters, and will also give some tips and tricks for Powerpoint.  Rista Plate, MindCORE Postdoctoral Fellow, will answer the “what and the why” of poster sessions: their relevance to a research career, the general structure of a poster session, and what she has learned from her experience with them.
