Join us for an information session to learn more about poster presentations, and how to create an effective poster. This is particularly good preparation for undergraduates who are interested in participating in the undergraduate Spring Research Poster Expo!

Barbara Kountouzi, Head of Digital Media & Virtual Services, Penn Biomedical Library

Barbara will discuss poster DOs and DON’Ts, using examples of actual scientific posters, and will also give some tips and tricks for Powerpoint.

Rista Plate, MindCORE Postdoctoral Fellow

Rista will answer the “what and the why” of poster sessions: their relevance to a research career, the general structure of a poster session, and what she has learned from her experience with them.
