The Conceptual and Contextual Correlates of Argument Structure: A case study of intentional events and states
This talk explores how intentional events and states are expressed in natural language, focusing on the linguistic realization of their participants. It provides an overview of recent research that integrates formal analysis, experimental methods, and computational models, highlighting open questions about how conceptual content and context of use interact to determine linguistic realization.
