Exploring the cognitive-motor interface: motor skill, movement imitation, and procedural memory
The notion of motor skill will be discussed, along with experimental results addressing it. Then I will discuss the basis for ability to imitate and the puzzling condition of apraxia in which this ability is lost. Finally I will discuss what the famous case of HM really means.
The talk will begin at 12:00pm. A pizza lunch will be served at 11:45am.
