MindCORE Research Experiences for Undergraduate Students

We offer paid research experiences to both Penn and non-Penn students working in MindCORE-affiliated faculty labs.

All non-Penn students and most Penn students are admitted as part of the MindCORE Summer Fellowship Program where students work on mentored research projects in interdisciplinary mind and brain research across multiple schools in the University including the Schools of Arts & Sciences, Business, Communications, Engineering, and Medicine. All MindCORE Summer Fellows are paid for 10-weeks of full-time work with select MindCORE faculty including members of Biology, Neuroscience, Psychology, Linguistics, Philosophy, and Computer Science. Summer Fellows may also be provided with on-campus summer housing when needed.

There is one additional program for Penn students that has both a summer and academic year component – the Jeffrey Greenberg Undergraduate Research Fellowship. This is an opportunity for undergraduates at Penn to conduct research on memory and the brain in the lab of a faculty member in the Department of Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania.
